Adam: Hey folks exciting news for X-men97 fans. Marvel has released images of the multiple X-men teams that will appear in the upcoming season. It’s Kwannon. It was revealed a while back on an official trading card.

I guess since adaptions of Psylocke are always shallow and just show the character being cool that Kwannon would be the easier route as Betsy has history to dig through.

Are we sure it's Kwannon?

I heard about the official card too, but not that it tied to X-Men 97.

I was actually thinking with them doing this new comic with "Asian Betsy" suddenly out of nowhere, and Betsy kinda being exposed more in these new comics that it could be Betsy tbh.

Maybe I missed it, but I haven't seen anything officially saying it was one or the other in the cartoon series yet.

Adam: The card does indeed come from an X-men97 set and says that Psylocke's real name is Kwannon and that she was born in Tokyo. The cards are just repackaged concept art so they don't seem very "official" to me. It's never been said on the show (including the 90s episodes) who exactly she is. I do agree with you guys that's it more likely they'll go with Kwannon if they broach it at all. Regardless, I'm excited to see either character!
