X-Force Ends with Issue #10

Marvel's X-Force, written by Geoffrey Thorne, will conclude with issue #10 in April 2025. Thorne confirmed the cancellation on the CBR forum, stating, "Yeah. Sadly... We're done at #10. Not sure why."

The title was absent from Marvel’s May solicitations, fueling speculation, especially with NYX also missing. The series, launched in July 2024, featured a new take on the team with Forge leading Captain Britain, Askani, Sage, Tank, and Surge. Marvel has yet to comment on the decision.

So odd considering it was written very well and was selling pretty good.

I can only hope Thorne is getting to do his Betsy solo he has been pitching.

Wow this is so disappointing

No major loss, imo. He had no compelling direction for Betsy.

It was selling well and I liked his Betsy, sad to see the title go. Unless it means he'll be writing her in another book

Crazy how TH got 30 plus issues with Betsy and Krakoa XForce lasted over 40 issues. RIP Thornes XForce :( I really enjoyed it Betsy or not

My gut tells me they will reboot X-Force to be more alpha male macho with more violence than the magical science fiction adventure we have been going on. It’s too bad because I’ve really enjoyed the ride so far. Consider writing to the X Office & let them know how much you’ve loved Betsy under Thorne and Marcus. With all the books dropping off they must be cooking up a new batch of #1s.

Sage and Betsy's voice was spot-on. Like that's about it for this series, IMO. No more comments.

"Very disappinting. Phoenix sells less than X-Force, and they approved another arc up to issue 15. It doesn’t make sense.

Honestly, Brevoort didn’t seem to like X-Force. It was the only book he never promoted on his Substack, using the excuse that the editor of X-Force was someone else, even though he talks about all the books. And there was also that time he retweeted a very bad review of X-Force.
