Guys, I want to ask about something. So, we all know that "Psylocke" is a name that was given by Mojo to Betsy right? Here's the thing, though. In the same issue, New Mutants Annual #2, the name Psylocke actually appears on page before Betsy was even abducted by Mojo. I'm literally looking at the page right now. It's written "As Psylocke, her mutant powers are formidable, but they did not save her from being blinded." I thought at first that the issue was released after Psylocke was already an X-Men and so it was just a prequel story, but the next sentence on the next page literally reads, "They [her mutant powers] do not save her now." and proceeds wth the Mojo abduction plot. So, my question is, was the name Psylocke actually a name that Betsy had before her encounter with Mojo and Spiral? Was she ever called Psylocke in the classic Captain Britain comics? Will someone help explaining this to me? I'm sorta confused here.

It’s just Chris Claremont’s narration. Mojo named Betsy Psylocke for his Wildways show. Brian reacts to the TV; that “Psylocke” character — it’s BETSY!!

Actually, it was never explicitly made canon. New Mutants Annual identifies Betsy as Psylocke without providing a proper explanation. The idea that Mojo named her Psylocke is actually headcanon and not explicitly stated in the text. So it could go either way: it might be a codename Betsy adopted on her own before her abduction, or it could be a name Mojo gave her.

I suppose whoever this "Classified" character is, they're not on the cover, right? So that excludes Cable, Wolverine, X-23 and Feral (to be fair, no one would care about Feral, anyway).
Any idea of who could it be? Fantomex, Hope Summers, Cannonball, Bishop, Warpath...
