I don't mind the giant "buster sword" but I had so much faith in Geoff Thorne and Marcus To that they would restore Betsy's butterfly, but alas it was not to be. Kwannon still has the real Butterfly and Betsy has broken up shards as her power signature.

I do wish someone would look at actual Medieval English swords. I know a lot have intricate details but there are simple designs that could translate well to a definitive psychic sword for her. The buster design works for Magik imo. Considering a few years ago we had that whole X of Swords arc, with like 2 dozen characters wielding blades, I'm sure someone can make Betsy her own design.

she had the Starlight sword, but at some point they dropped it and it became pink, so was it a psychic construct too ? Nobody knows ¿, and we're glad that TH's writing is slowly being forgotten

She doesn't use it as much as I'd like, but she definitely still has the Butterfly. It just seemed to only be used when she gave Rachel those boosts. Now that Rachel is possibly "cured" it'll be interesting to see if she'll use it for something else now.
