@Liberty, recall that every time Kwannon has worn a sash, it's been an Elizabeth hand-me-down uniform the Jim Lee one and the Kris Anka one (I think she wore the latter in one issue of Marauders a year or so ago). So I'd say Kwannon wear's Betsy attire versus the other way around. :-)
This is why I am happy Kwannon has a new look in From the Ashes.
I'd love to see the red parts colored pink, the black colored lavender and maybe the sash purple? Also needs a boot like the ones she wore in her KoX look
I think both the color schemes of the original rendering and the fan recolor are off. The original has too much red and yellow and the re-color has too much pink and purple. I think complementary colors like navy, black, green, and charcoal would make her hair color pop more and offer a nice contrast with it. Her hair color pops more for me when paired with colors like these:
I think both the original and the recolored both have color-scheme issues. The first has too much red and yellow. The re-colored has too much pink and lavender and kinda washes her out. I’d love to see a uniform incorporating complementary colors like navy, green, black, charcoal, gray that would make her hair pop and vice versa. Those colors would be great with purple and/or lavender accents and would be good with her hair. Like some of the looks on this page:
Agreed Polaris, Julio and Rogue are green. I think Betsy needs to stick to lavender it's a color that's not really used as a staple for any other XMan and makes Betsy unique IMO.
That's why I hate the union jack colors so much.. throw a rock and you'd hit ten or more heroes that wear red or blue or both.
I get your points, but disagree. We've often discussed here whole cool it is when the X-Men have rotations of uniforms being stuck in one uniform at any given time. I don't think green belongs top any one character. Jean regularly alternates between green/yellow and red/yellow. Ororo had worn black. white, purple, silver, etc. Rogue has worn green/white; green/silver, brown. green/yellow/bown, green/white/brown, green/black/brown. Lorna has worn green. purple, blue/yellow. James has worn yellow/black/blue/red and brown/orange/black/red. I think it'd be great to see her in a rotation of color combos.
Not a bad design, but I don't think it fits with Betsy's current depiction.
...In another subject, in case anyone here likes old-school video games, Capcom announced that it will release a Marvel vs Capcom collection for PS4, Switch and PC. The collection has 7 games, and Psylocke is playable in three of them ("X-Men: Children of the Atom", "Marvel Super Heroes", and "Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes"). She's also an assist character in "Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes", and she's... uh... killable in Apocalypse's stage in "X-Men vs. Street Fighter", I guess? Oh well, she does appear in Cammy's ending in that same game, so her "death" is not canon anyway.
The thing I liked the most is that Capcom produced an artwork featuring several characters from both companies to promote this collection, and Psylocke appears paired with Chun-Li, who's basically Capcom's most important female character (and some would say she's the most important female video game character, period), so I guess it shows that even if Marvel and Disney have been doing a poor job with Betsy nowadays, some other companies still have some love for her.

Betsy has only worn blue and red all these years, check out the "Costume Gallery". Are you sure you hate thhe "Union Jack colors" or just the Captain Britain designs?
I also agree that Betsy should wear more purple and pink, the only three times she was Psylocke (as an X-Men and in her own body) she wore those colors.
True the hand outfit was blue and red for years however the CB looks have a little too much red for my liking. And you're partially right maybe it's the CB designs I just hate the cape so much lol

Looks like a Kwannon outfit more than a Betsy one
It has a lot of callbacks to her original uniform. I love it!

It needs tweaks and different color setting but I love it because it says Psylocke instead Captain Britain.
Black boots or tights and its ready.
I like it from the waist up, it homages both her first X-men suit and the Jim Lee thongkini. The sash doesn't really work for me here

@randybear Someone has already done a recolor like this: https://x.com/THE_C0RNER/status/1801086806399631501
Definitely improved but still missing something and thanks!

She needs to go back to her OG signature colors
I do like her in all black too like some of the looks here, but I agree about her signature colors.
Some things just are Betsy.

@X-Man, she looks fantastic in panels 1 and 4 (w/Tony and Ororo). She looks great in every panel, but those two panels are beyond! 💜
@Rahsaan agreed with Tony, I also think she looks great in all of them, but that one is my fave.
