Interesting they refer to her as Betsy Braddock & not CB.

I would be happy if eventually she gave up CB and just went by Betsy if they wanted Kwannon to keep the Psylocke name.

Now would be the perfect time for Betsy to go back to being Psylocke and Kwannon to adopt the name "Revanche" (as revenge on Orchis for the Hellfire Gala Massacre).

We are in a good reset point I feel. Glad to see Betsy in any case, too bad it's in those Infinity comics (the trash receptacle for bad writers and mediocre artists who they don't dare put on real monthly books).

I also noticed a very acceptable lack of Rachel, which is interesting because whatever the "run in" was about it involved three telepaths and no RS.

@Flying Negro, this indeed would be a perfect time for exactly just that!

@Banquo, after what Tini did to poor Ray, I think she more than any other character in that Otherworld Saga needs a time out followed by hard reset. Ray was written worse than Bets, Megan, Remy, Rogue, Ric, Shatterstar, Jubes, Kylun, Bei, and Shogo combined!

Wasn't that when Malice had possessed Betsy and had used the powers that Betsy hadn't been using like the Psi Blade, Butterfly, daggers to take down her team members?

I vagually remember Kwannon coming and telling them that wasn't really Betsy. Later on I think Betsy & Kwannon entered Malice's mind to defeat her & get her back to sanity.

I don't remember them using Emma much at all for anything telepathic. I kinda just possibly remember her at end to give Malice another chance. I could be wrong, but thats what I remember lol.

Interesting. I'd love if she joined the X-Men again and gave Brian back the CB title.

I also heard Jordan White is no longer X-Men editor on another forum.

Do you know if that is true @Rahsaan or anyone else? I can't even tell if that would be good or bad news at this point lol.

I'm thinking a new writer and editor would be possibly good though.

@X-Man great shake ups are in due. Disney had a great loss revenue with the MCU and the Disney+ drops. Surmounted by a greater debt from the acquisition of Fox and its subsidiaries. The changes happening at the X-Office reflect the start of a selling out to another company just like WB did with DC before the AT&T merger. The problem lies with franchises that once belonged to George Lucas and those in shared custody with Sony. They have a say in who is going to appropriate their media for revenue purposes. Is the apple going to do good or might be the forbidden fruit that calls for a doctor.

I'm curious to see Tom Brevoort managing the X-Men. Jordan D. White was not made for such a position of power. He was soft as butter and gathered the worst talent under a roof. His enabling allowed for a toxic run in the X-Office ruining many of its brands. Betsy Braddock is dead proof of that.

@X-Man it will be a velvet send-off for White for appearances while his untalented crew yells at the SAGAFTRA feeling betrayed and underpaid.

Last they want is to admit defeat for their diverse and colorful Krakoa. While the shadow play of Gala lingers Brevoort acts as provisional EiC although he states otherwise.

The priority is to revert to the classic recipe and revillainize a whole slew of characters who found a new voice during Krakoa. It will anger a lot of readers I guarantee you that. Let's hope Magneto won't make the 90s 180 to his usual supremacy shtick.

For the future of Betsy I'm extremely cautious and pessimistic. The fact she is reduced to a narration box in a low tier web comic doesn't bode well or work to her favor. As well for still wearing the mantle which damaged her reputation.

@X, to answer your question: This news about Jordan is news to me. Though, my comic book dealer did inform me the week before last that Tini has left Office X. I asked if he was certain. And he affirmed that he was. I know that he has deep ties within the industry, so I doubt he’d say that without hearing it from a credible source. We’ll see though. I hope she has stable work elsewhere if true. I dislike her X-Men book writing very much, but I most certainly don’t wish unemployment on her.

@Rahsaan Tini is prepping for the Gotham War at DC and she took over Harley Quinn from Stephanie Phillips a few months ago, so I doubt she'd care less about being assigned projects that are as uninspiring as BB: CB at this stage. She'll be just fine.

@Rahsaan thank you man. I don't wish unemployment on her either and like@Poetry said below, I think she still has DC stuff. It is conflicting though, because if fans constantly voice their displeasure and her answer is basically "they just miss ninja Betsy" and refuse to see it went much deeper than that (and was written as such by many of us), I don't know if that is deserving of being a head writer either.
