Wolverine #6, Chapter 3 & X-Force #13, Chapter 4
Spoilers: Wolverine and Solem both were asked to reclaim a Muramasa blade for the tournament. Wolverine goes to hell to find Muramasa, who is being held prisoner by the Hand. Meanwhile, Solem was locked up for 100 years, guilty of killing War’s husband, Summoner’s father. Once Solem is summoned to fight for Arakko, War releases him. Solem embarks on a question to retrieve his Muramasa blade, which leads him to hell. The Hand imprisons Wolverine in hell. Logan wakes up and realizes Solem is locked up in the next cell. As Muramasa had forged two new swords for a wedding ceremony, Wolverine and Solem join forces and defeat the Hand. Solem reclaims the two swords. In exchange for Wolverine’s help, Solem offers to sell one of them to Logan, who accepts, although the price was not revealed. Wolverine returns to Krakoa and heads to the casting circle. Logan joins Magik by placing his sword in the rune.
Marauders #13, Chapter 5
Spoilers: Storm heads to Wakanda to retrieve the Skybreaker, a sacred Wakandan sword. Storm requests and audience with Queen Ramonda and explains why she needs such a weapon. Queen Ramonda and Shuri offer her different blades, however Storm specifically requests the Skybreaker. Queen Ramonda refuses as the only person who can authorize her to retrieve such a sacred sword is T’Challa, and the king won’t be back in Wakanda for days. Storm accepts and agrees to wait for his return.
At night, Storm sneaks out of her guest room and heads to the temple to steal the sword. Ororo knocks down several guards and fights her way in until she reaches the sword. Shuri, who’s been suspicious of her all along, is waiting for Storm, and the two fight for the sword. Ororo defeats Shuri and retrieves the sword. T’challa, who was supposed to be away, surprises Storm. Albeit disappointed and heartbroken, the Black Panther lets Storm go with the sword, but orders that the Krakoan portals of Wakanda be destroyed. Storm then joins Magik and Wolverine in the casting circle, placing her sword in the rune.

Thank you for the spoilers!
Will Marvel release three books every week? If so, Betsy's quest will start in two weeks, right? Meanwhile, the next chapters are from Hellions, Cable (featuring Cyclops and Jean) and New Mutants (which will hopefully show other New Mutants besides Cypher and Magik).
The odd thing, though, is that no one from Hellions is a Swordbearer, right? I wonder what they're even supposed to do in this event...
Man, this was so boring. Can we just go straight to the tournament already?
FSAKER. You do know that Kwannon is the Swordbearer right. I wouldn't be surprise they choose someone who actually know how to use a sword. Why do you think they have a book for Hellion of all places.
Atomic, she isn't.
You do know Kwannon isn't a sword bearer, right?
Yeah, I think he's just joking.
Anyway, what role do you guys think the Hellions will play in this crossover, since they probably won't be helping any Swordbearer to find their sword? The cover for their second issue in XoS seems to indicate one of the Arakko people will kill them all (then again, I'm not sure if Nanny can be killed, being a machine and all)... could they be in charge of protecting Krakoa from trespassers from Arakko while the tournament goes on?
They'll probably be busy with some irrelevant side-quest. This crossover shouldn't be this big in the first place. They're padding out stuff to make it longer.
FSaker, I'm guessing they're sent on some suicide squad-esque type mission to help with the tournament is my assumption. Or they help retrieve a sword, etc Either way it looks like they all die somehow due to Swords, which we know they'll be ressurected, but it's interesting to see if maybe Sinister sends them to their death in order for him to get something accomplished. Similar to Apocalypse and his manipulations with Excalibur
Psi-Girl, Tini Howard said there were many characters that were considered to be Swordbearers for a good time, before the team of writers settled on the ten final characters. I guess Kwannon was one of these characters initially considered.
randybear, yeah, your guess seems plausible. And yes, I can see Sinister playing with the Hellions' deaths (...and Nanny's shutdown, I guess?) with no remorse at all, only to further his plans. Kinda like Shaw did to Kitty. In fact, I'm surprised Apocalypse hasn't sent the Excalibur team to any suicide mission... at least, not yet.
FSaker, yeah if you remember the Marks Brooks promotional art for the event it had tons of characters on it, we all assumed all those characters were going to be heavily involved.
@FSaker,
Nanny is not a machine. She is a human mutant who was trapped inside of mutant-hunting machine.
@Rahsaan, thanks for the information!
In that case, poor Nanny...
@FSaker, you're welcome. For more on Nanny:

@randybear, I like your new avatar! It's nice to see everyone's beautiful faces!
@Rahsaan thank you! that's very kind.
@FSaker, here is some more: http://www.marvunapp.com/Appendix4/nannyorphan.htm#:~:text=(X%2DFactor%20I%2340,soldiers%20to%20destroy%20all%20mutants.
I don't recall if we ever saw Nanny outside of her entrapment in X-Factor. If she dies and resurrects, will the people of Krakoa put her back in that armor? She is so mentally unwell that she might prefer that.
Maybe Kwannon and Nanny can bond over having lost their bodies lol (albeit Kwannon gaining hers back. Thank you Betsy!)
Betsy has the Starlight Sword 1 and Brian the Sword of Might 2. The twins switch swords is big cause Brian's Lionheart costume changes to ultra Captain Britain in later covers.
Wolverine has the double Muramasa 3 from the same name blacksmith.
Storm got the Skybreaker 4 from Wakanda.
Magik has her soulsword 5.
Doug has Warlock 6 pose as a sword.
Apocalypse has Scarab 7.
Cable has the Light of Galador 8.
Gorgon has two swords on the covers Godkiller 9 and Grasscutter 10. He used them in the past.
