Betsy looks great but they love coloring her hair pink.

Oh yes! The top bitch in charge! It's so refreshing that Emma Frost and Jean Grey are nowhere to be seen. Finally Betsy gonna take the spotlight!

I know covers might be misleading but an actual interaction between Doug and Betsy would be awesome!

I think Betsy should hold the place of the sophisticated telepath. Due to her being a famous super model. Emma is wrongly categorized as such and if you are candid about Emma be a rich stripper you get the middle finger from her stans. Emma is on the side of angels for too long, time to return to form.

Emma is boring again. Her, like Gambit, are boring when they receive too much exposure. The appeal is they are morally ambiguous and mysterious, they become dull when written fully transparent in their motives IMO

A Betsy covers palooza!!!!! Never before was Betsy on so many covers. Her role in XoS looks important. So happy!

The fails of Betsy's hair color continue. A Doja Cat color puts Betsy with Blink, Pixie and Kid Omega. No no no no. Keep it variant purple, amethyst, lavender, mauve, lilac not pink.

@Psi-Girl it suits REVANCHE real good to be in the psychos department. The only role for REVANCHE to keep her relevant is wanting revenge from Betsy. Take note how REVANCHE rips off Betsy not only on her imagery but on her villains list as well. Betsy has an archenemy in Sabretooth and Marvel creates beef between REVANCHE and Wild Child. REVANCHE the Psylocke clone has beef with the Sabretooth clone. How fitting!

Yall please let the editors know Betsy's hair is purple!

Wow, Betsy is in a lot of covers for this event!

...And I still have no idea of what to expect from the plot.

Anyway, while X of Swords is about to start in the US, in Brazil we recently got an anthology of X-Men stories. Which is very expensive, but turned out to be quite good (though I fail to understand why they chose to include an early story with Kitty and the one about Illyana's death over the iconic Days of Future Past arc - the DoFP arc only has two issues, and the anthology does bring the entire E is for Extinction arc, which has three issues). Other than that, the selection of issues is surprisingly good, including the very first story by Stan Lee, the Giant-Size introducing X-Men from other nationalities, the final part of the Dark Phoenix Saga and ending things up with Bendis's All-New #1 (which, despite not being a great story, does give a sense of closure since it ends with Present Beast visiting the Past O5 who starred the very first story in the anthology).

Betsy only appears in one of the stories in the anthology, the legendary X-Men vol.2 #1 issue (to be fair, that's also Gambit and Rogue's only story in the anthology, and Rogue has been with the X-Men for much longer than Betsy). But it's the recently-recolored version, which means that it looks fantastic and Betsy has a normal skin tone (rather than the orange skin Jim Lee gave her for some weird reason) - and, thanks to Jim Lee drawing faces very similar to each other, we can even pretend that Psylocke is just a caucasian woman or that everyone in the X-Men is Asian. And, well, I know many people here hate her ninja era, but she is a true badass in that story, kicking Magneto's helmet off (and almost kicking his HEAD off as well), knocking out an Acolyte by herself and all that.

Sorry for derailing the discussion; it's just that I liked it so much (other than the absence of the DoFP arc) that I wanted to share it here.

@FSaker, the orange skin tone was colorist, Scott Williams' doing. Not Jim Lee's fault. I think Scott did it to depict her with a darker color than the white characters, but it came across as orange versus a yellow undertone. And it's interesting as you said about Jim drawing everyone alike. A few years back, a friend of mine who stopped reading in the late 80s just after Inferno had no idea that Psylocke had become Asian and said, "All this time, in the Jim Lee art, I thought she was just squinting." SMDH. And if you look at how Jim draws his non-East Asian characters when they actually are squinting, he draws them how he draws Psylocke. It's silly that even an Asian artist cannot differentiate her. The only time he really drew her right as East Asian was in Acts of Vengence. Of all Jim's renditions of her that one actually really looked like a Chinese woman.

Now these artists need to get Betsy's current hair color right.
