Oh, I like Emma. She has just been written VERY out of character since the X-Men moved to San Francisco. Give her back some Morrison flavor and she will be welcome to the Outback X-girls club.
It's interesting to see how much the Outback X-girls have changed... Storm stopped looking like a punk biker (too bad, I loved her mohawk haircut and leather pants), married Black Panther and became queen of a nation; Rogue now has control over her powers but not over her heart (divided between Gambit and Magneto); Dazzler used to be a superstar but now is just wallpaper. As for Betsy... yeah, we all know.
BTW, Husk decided to return to the Chuck Austen era's costume? Cool! Austen's run was kinda mediocre, but almost all of his X-Men got great uniforms (except for Angel's ridiculous diaper, of course).
I like Emma but not for her current personality. Also with Jean as my number one fav (right before Psylocke) I detest the Scott and Emma relationship which puts Emma at the bottom of my like list. If those issues got solved then she'd be great although I wouldn't want her or anyone else to infiltrate the Outback X-Girls club. Those four (Storm, Psylocke, Rogue, and Dazzler) are great as they are.
Yes I'm glad that Husk is getting her old costume back. I always loved the design and colors and her other costume that she had in Legacy was simple but makes her feel more like wallpaper.
To be fair, though, the relationship between Scott and Jean was already pretty boring, IMO. Actually I think Jean is much better without him, she can now be a X-leader without having to worry about his opinions (poor Emma can't do that nowadays, and it sucks), she can join the Avengers (where I think she'd fit much better than with the X-Men, now that she's one with the Phoenix Force), she's free from any strings she had with Cyclops and can go any route she wants (well, actually, any route Marvel wants, but you get it...)!
She only needs a writer and editor to bring her back to life.
“For so long, my life has been out of control. Chaos and serendipity, wrapped in insanity. I have suffered, I have lost. Not just my life, but my very soul, my self. But no more. Now I know who I am.” – Elizabeth ‘Betsy’ Braddock, daughter of Otherworld, mutant, telepath, telekinetic, defender of the realm and, above all, X-Man.

"Outback girls" - Fond memories of the good old late 80's X-Men...
Love it! Too bad that one fake blonde at the very end ruins it.
