oh my gosh! so kwannon was in british betsy's old body right? or was she half asian, half caucasian? i thought i read that somewhere. hopefully she won't have the legacy virus. and hopefully she becomes an x-woman!

She's in Betsy's old body (Blonde and blue)

wow Revanche!!! the suppositions were true. But something's going to happen i suppose...maybe kwannon's body is just a means for resurrection or a bait...i don't think her presence will be permanent

I have a feeling that Psylocke will stay with her asian body for good due to her brother's manipulations (Jamie). As far as I know, she cannot be manipulated physically and mentally, right? I think the sisterhood needs Revanche's potential telepathic powers... maybe... or they are using her body to ressurect someone that needs telepathic capacities...

i don't mind psylocke staying in her asian body but would love if kwannon was a major character and didn't just come back for a few issues only to die again or fade away into obscurity. sigh, i wish there could be two betsy's haha. one for the fans of the kick ass asian with the sharp attitude, and one for the fans of the british model.

but if they can make Beast a cat and make Callisto have squid arms they should definitely be able to change Betsy to her original form without caring about copyright or marketing issues or whatever they have been afraid of this whole time.

Okay, so Spiral stole Kwannon's body... but what does it mean? Is Revanche coming back from the dead? Or is the Sisterhood just interested in "her" body, so that they can either put Betsy's mind/soul back in it or make the X-Men think the body is actually Psylocke?? So many questions...

When I saw Domino, I thought she was the "friend returning as a foe and ready for murder", but fortunately it doesn't seem likely.

Anyway, whether Revanche returns or not, it's PSYLOCKE I want to see in this story! And I hope she's there as promised; I'll be very disappointed if Fraction brings Revanche like if she and Psylocke were the same person...

maybe they can get rid of Pixie and Revanche can be the new girl in town with lilac hair :)

I just realized that it'd actually be genius if they put Kwannon back in her original body and Betsy back in hers. Kwannon would be such a badass ninja and people would still get their eyecandy, and British Betsy would be the Psylocke we know and love. I hope the Psylocke standing with Angel and Beast in 511 is Kwannon.

I'm fairly certain that the one taking a blast to the past w/ Beast and Angel is Elizabeth. It makes most sense, since it seems like they'll be investigating the Hellfire Club. Warren and Betsy are both members.

I does make sense that it's Betsy going to the past, and the next issue was the "Return of Psylocke" issue.

However, there is a chance that
Betsy might not be coming back in the near future after the happily ever after ending to sword of the braddocks and the ending of the re-hashed story where they say "no more Betsy".

However it goes, the preview looks great, very creepy and I think the story is well paced and the art is grea.

i see.

why would kwannon return evil?
betsy and her paired up to take down spiral before?
and lets be honest against betsy shes hardly gonna stand a chance
betsys a tk powerhouse!
and immune to telepathy
hopefully the x-men get there buy whooped and betsy saves the day making a glorious return to the X books (im hoping a mainstay in uncanny with cameos in astonishing)

I really can't see Revanche making a comeback. We were promised Psylocke. Perhaps Spiral saved a copy of Betsy's mind, ready to be put back in her original body? This would erase several years of confusing continuity.

Psylocke is coming back. Revanche was just a "test run" for the sisterhood I guess Matt said. They are both on the cover but I'm pretty sure Betsy is staying in the Asian body.

But Adam, even if Spiral has a copy of Betsy's mind and put it in her original body, that wouldn't be the REAL Psylocke, would she? After all, the real Psylocke is still alive and living with the Exiles.

I mean, she would be like a clone, except the body is original, but the mind is cloned...

Holy...Betsy is going to be Royaly Pissed when she comes back and sees what Maddie and co have been doing with her old body! I hope by the Gods that she goes berserk and FINALLY unleashes her new fighting skills AND her so-called "mountain crushing TeKe" on the Sisterhood's collective asses!!! GO BETSY!

Hm, a test run eh?

You know folks, I'm really excited about this story, and I really really like Fraction's writing, but aren't you starting to wish he'd be a little more tight lipped. It seems like every couple of days he says something new about what's going to happen and we haven't even had the chance to read the issue yet!

Rogue said...

yeah he should, maybe then we wouldn't be as anxious as we are about this story, but I like waht's going to happen, I mean, it kinda makes sense that this happens now. The Red queen keeps bragging about being able to bring back the dead, and it makes sense for Spiral to want to make amends for what she did to Betts and Kwannon, plus there's a loop hole, I don't think that Bety's immune to magic tampering, just telepathy and reality alteration, everything else is fair game...Like I said, I'm not sure...

Spiral said used the word vessel, which would mean that they could put whatever in the old Betts body.

I think it would make perfect sense that if Betsy got word that her original body had been boosted, that she would come back and that would be a perfect way, story wise, to get her back into the fold.

I just wonder how they resolve the whole exiles switchover, they will probably just forget it and move on, but I think those unresolved switches are part of what causes confusion.

At least let us know why she would leave the other Sabertooth, was it a domestic problem, did he shed to much? whatever just resolve it and move on.

Rogue said...

I really do hope Betsy's return is well explained. I never got why she hooked up with Sabretooth in the 1st place. I mean, they started as enemies of sorts, now they're lovers?
She needas to be alone for a while, then she can go back to Warren for all I care, but let her be alone for a while, oh and put her back in her original body, with ninja training.

FSaker said...

She can go back to Warren, she can be alone, but it would be nice if Uncanny acknowledges that prior to the Sisterhood arc she was working with the Exiles, instead of pretending her time out of Earth-616 never happened...

I hope Fraction explains why she came back to Earth-616.

SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!

Betsy is being held hostage by the Red Queen. And from what i've been told it sounds like they put some of Betsy's essence in her old body.

what are her powers?
