Geoffrey Thorne: Full disclosure, Ben Raab, wrote of one of my favorite X-mini series, PSYLOCKE AND ARCHANGEL: CRIMSON DAWN which featured Archangel and Psylocke (Betsy). He's sort of a friend of mine. Even though I loved the mini, I've actually never much liked the Archangel version of Warren or the Elektra knockoff version of Betsy so, here, I put them together (visually, at least) in the forms I prefer.

If Geoffrey gets to write Elizabeth again, I would not be opposed to she and Rachel calling it quits and somewhere down the line, she and Warren giving their relationship another go.
I agree, the Rachel connection seemed a bit forced,. The thing that I liked about the Warren Betsy relationship is first that they have more in common. The obvious, both wealthy, form old money, so they could theoretically relate to each other in that way, and they were both altered against their will, their bodies completly changed and personalities corrupted (in fairness you could say that about Rachel as well). But the most important thing, they were never joined at the hip the way Rachel and Betsy are. Betsy had many adventures without Warren. Which for me makes much more sense for a fee spirit like Betsy. Monogamy does not strike me as a Betsy Braddock trait, as a matter of fact I could imagine Warren and Betsy having an open relationship understanding. Howard was boxing Betsy up into a domestic bliss thing, which felt like all her writing, personal to herself, she was writing for herself, which she clearly admitted and was in the end very boring and flew in the face of years of writing of a character that craved freedom and adventure. So I agree, it's time for Betts to cut Rachel loose, i wonder if it will happen?
