She's either a double agent for Logan or for the sake of her mind she does the general heroics with Scott but also realizes that she is needed on a squad like X-force. I still see no Angel. But if he does die or os just sidelined somehow a teleporter can be just as good,if not better, as a team flyer.

I'm still thinking that the figure in X-Men cover is Karma. But Domino is not a bad guess.
And I like Psylocke's bubblebutt in the X-Force cover....
I love it. Psylocke makes the perfect double agent, skill- and power-wise.

I think the girl with the huge fire blast behind her is Firestar because she's a mutant and all.
ReplyDeleteOoh!! As a child of the 80s I adore Firestar and would love to see her as an X-Man. I always just assumed it would never happen since the fiery flying redhead post is perpetually filled in the X-Universe.
ReplyDeleteIt would be great if Angelica and Vance were more involved with the plight of mutants, actually. However, I do definitely appreciate the fact they're also integrated in with the non-mutant sector.

ooooo.. Firestar! I didn't even think about her, and I love her so I don't know why she didn't cross my mind. I still think its either Rachel or AOA Jean. I'd much rather see AOA Jean come to 616 than have regular 616 Jean ever return. She makes the X-Men more dynamic when she stays dead in my opinion.

I know it could be very unlikely, since she IS one of the five lights and all, but I just noticed she's not in the Generation Hope cover as well. (Ok, tchyeah, covers aren't to be taken literally.) Just throwing in another guess? Hehe.

ReplyDeleteI think I've read somewhere that Rachel/Marvel Girl will be having a new costume. I think she's either one of the flying girl (my guess is the legacy one- you can see the spikes on her arms)
Nevertheless, I also think Oya/Idie will be in Wolverine's side. I believe the other WATXM teaser has a shadow of a girl with an afro.
If it were Idie, wouldn't the other half of her body be shooting ice or something cold? Every time I've seen her she is using both powers. It is possible though, I like that guess.
ReplyDeleteI can also see those spikes on the Legacy teaser character now too, I didn't notice them before but I still thought it to be Marvel Girl (I hope they bring Rachel back bad-ass, she has kinda lost her edge in my opinion over the last few years, just a little)
I'm so excited to read X-Factor now that they finally gave Rictor his powers back! Plus, Havok and maybe Polaris, Shatterstar and non-pregnant Wolfsbane.. it can't get any better!

As for Oya, some people are speculating that she may die by the end of Schism, and that would be the breaking point between Cyclops and Wolverine. I hope she doesn't (Oya is my favorite Light after Hope - and I love ALL the Lights, so Idie being one of my favorite means I love her A LOT), but the future doesn't seem to be very good for her...

Actually if you look closer in X-Factor it looks like there is 4 people in front of Strong Guy. Hopefully they will not kill off Longshot before they resolve the storyline between him and Shatterstar. I'm guessing they kill off Pip the Troll. My guess of the remaining members is Longshot, Multiple Man, Polaris and a possible shocker Dazzler or Feral. Dazzler would add a interseting dynamic with Longshot and Shatterstar. Hopefully they will not duplicate Multiple Man in the teaser.

ReplyDeleteHe was telling herm Scott and Jean that Charles' dream of pacifism was a wash, and she got all angry and accused him of being out-of-bounds as a new jack to the fold and said his violent ways were bad.
He then reminded her of her whole "X-Men are dead ruse, so we can be an oppositional strike force covertly without putting our loved ones in harm's way."
Shut her ass right up too. That was good.

ReplyDeleteLOL I'm glad some one put Storm in her place she can come off as very pious and holier then thou sometimes.
They should give storm a mohawk, spikes, and some leather pants again. lol. It would be nice to see her husband by her side in the X-Men, maybe its time for her to be a mom.(then they could send their child into the future and bring him/her back as a teenager like everyone else lol.)
