But it also reminds me that Saturnyne's hair should be white; it took me two seconds to realize that the woman behind Betsy is her and not Emma Frost...
Took two fricken years colorists to get that Betsy is purple🟣 haired and another three to get Saty is pearl blond and another ten to get Dazzler is strawberry blonde. They nail Emma as the bimbo of the bunch tho she gets all the love FSR.
The colorists make no effort to use different shades of blond for Emma dazzler Saturyne. Each have their unique blond hue thats lost to time 😆
Seriouslt the issue is there are no reference sheets for the characters i realize it would be a bit of a task for the editors so therefore it'll never happen because they're incredibly lazy and have things corrected when people lose their mind on twitter over it
@Kiki M. Ishola, I must confess I hadn't even noticed the butterflies on this cover. Thank you for pointing that out; it's indeed a very nice touch!
@X-Man, as far as I know, she isn't. I guess this is a cover to celebrate this run, so Rogue is shown thanks to her participation throughout the run even though she's no longer in Excalibur (then again, this makes me wonder why Apocalypse isn't shown). Then again, maybe we'll be surprised and she will rejoin the team during the battle against Arthur's army; that would be great for us (but bad for Rogue herself, since she's in a great X-book nowadays).
Beautiful!

DeleteSaturnyne has been a platinum blonde since the late 80s.

Phew the butterflies won. They are more Betsy than the goddam stars and stripes.

@Fsaker yeah I'm not sure. I saw her in another cover I think, where her image was in a pool or something.
