If I had to guess, I'd say Betsy is the one on Rogue's left side, and the one on top could be Polaris. Yes, I know she wasn't part of the Outback team, but for some reason it looks like Lorna rather than Madelyne, in my opinion.
If it ever gets colored, we'll know for sure. But even in black and white, it's a beautiful art!
She was more than a guest. She was part of the team. She sacrificed her life in Dallas. And during their time in the Outback, she operated their telecomm and managed their intel. She was an honorary member providing much needed support.
@FSaker Madelyne's transformation into the Goblyn Queen was disturbing. As disturbing was what Claremont did years after to Betsy.
I felt sad for Maddie and Jean. Claremont made Jean appear selfish and mean through the mouth of N'astirh and the illustration was graphic terror.
Why Maddie should not be sane and in good terms with Scott and Jean and raise Nathan? She was a clone and everything she was and loved was taken away from her in a cruel way.
@Rahsaan it was intentional to show that Claremont treated Maddie like a Mrs. Potato Head. There should be limits on how cruel you can be toward a character. She was a honorary member nevertheless Claremont was slowly entering his Tom King phase and his writing became dark and ridiculously deconstructive.
Storm I swear you are Grace Jones listening to Sex Pistols. Rogue high-schooler? Betsy in the dress and fringe cropped leather biker jacket looks like Cyndi Lauper in punk. Alison is herself duh! The rhinestones body-suit is from Britney Spears Toxic yeah. And Tina Turner?
Anybody asked if Babs thought of the first time Betsy went to the U.S. of A? Cause she wore a cowboy hat.
I only recognize Storm and Rogue who are the other ladies ??

The front row from the screen perspective left to right are Psylocke (original/Betsy), Rogue and Storm. The back row are Dazzler and Madelyne Pryor.

Makes sense. But the girl in the back row doesn't look like Madelyne, unless we consider her after transforming into the Goblyn Queen.
