Never thought i would see Betsy pairing with Magneto, it's really unusual to me heh
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, I know a lot of you hate Greg Land and what not and I'm not interested in debating anyone, but I think this art is outstanding, occasionally stiff looking, but I think Psylocke has been drawn better here than she has been in months by other artists... except Opena of course.
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree. I usually hate Land's art, but as the critic guy from Comic Book Resources said, he showed a lot of improvement in this Tabula Rasa arc. Still looks a bit traced, but this time his art looks like he drew most of this art, instead of just tracing.
ReplyDeleteI agree that Land seems to be improving at least but "better here than she has been in months" is a bit of a stretch. Betsy was absolutely gorgeous for most of the Dark Angel Saga and this panel might be my favorite image of her in 2011:

Greg Land's horrible. I didn't think he would reuse the Sandra Bullock face YET AGAIN, but he did in the third page top right panel. I love Betsy but I can't buy this Uncanny series because of Land.
ReplyDeleteThat´s not Sandra B. face. It just isn't.
ReplyDeletehaha, I don't think anyone at Marvel traces anything.
