@Eduardo : I think it's implied that she already did that. She confirmed that Warren is dead this new 'being' is not Warren at all.. just a shell of him.
What we saw in those panels are Betsy in denial. Or probably not giving up that her lover is no more. But unfortunately it only makes her hurt more..
