  4. Isn't anyone just a little bit annoyed by the ever-flowing sashes?? I'm... I can barely cope with the overblown hair, the whole pack seems too much distraction. But I'm still liking the art, not loving, just liking, but that's a start.

  6. I like the flowiness (even a word?) it gives the fluid feel that a ninja has.It shows constant movement too

  7. @PsySpears - Yes. That's true. The fluidity of movement and gracefulness that is usually attributed to ninjas.

  8. I love the everflowing graceful sash! The art is just beautiful and really enjoying Betts using her stealth combined with butterfly power!

  9. Betsy is becoming the female psychic powerhouse of the X-Men!

  10. OMG... really looking forward #2!! The art is definitely getting better. I think this is one of the best Betsy story in ages.
I especially love the fourth pic. Betsy being sneaky and deadly. <3
I guess Yost uses the telekinesis to augment Betsy's strength as shown in the previews. Loved it! That's how she suppose to use the TK IMO..

    Can't wait!!!

  11. I'm looking forward to this one. Maybe the Betsy vs Yukio fight is what leads to the Logan vs Betsy one.

I agree with Yost using her TK to augment her skills thing. That was the only good thing that happened after her resurrection so long as she isn't totally miss incredible strength though.

  13. Go Betsy!! Kick Yukio's ass! Damn, I never liked Yukio... Mariko was the Japanese woman meant for Wolverine.

  14. Yukio was a wilcat tho,i liked her for that, but shes the kinda gal that will sell herself to the highest bidder.Isnt she still meant to be looking after wolvies "daughter" tho.Maybe thats why Logans pissed? Yost is a great continuity keeper, the best in years at referencing random stuff. And the carnage one woman is causing in this series is just <3.thats the thing with Psylocke even the butchest tough guy x-men fans loves her for her pure badassness. Her fan audience ranges from "Dazzler" fans to "Cable" fans which i love.

Oh and guys incase ya missed it,

  16. I don't recall if anyone commented but the cover art for Psylocke 1 features a ninja w/ Wolvie's claws... I'm sure it's entirely hand brainwashing. Wonder if Spiral has anything to do with it...

  18. Ignore my lame room-mate goofing on my computer. She is now a victim of the focused totality of my telepathic abilities... and such.

  19. Aww i missed what she said lol

    and thanks centurion :)

  20. @Anonymous 11:04PM - Yes, I think you are right, here. Maybe there is some type of psychic involvement that makes Wolverine go beserker on Betsy :)

  21. @PsySpears She challenged me to a duel for your <3 but she didn't realize I was logged in. So, I looked like I was babbling like a loon...

Yeah, but she's a quivering lump of a human now that I've lobotomized her; so, I win. Time to claim my prize... ;)

  25. might be an impression but it seems Harvey Tolibao returned her the grace she missed these years......... @Luckystar: i sent you an email...hope you'll like my proposal, let me know soon ;)

  26. @Franics - I agree with you here. It's amazing how quickly Betsy ascended from the abyss of nothing- ness to an A-list X-Woman again in less than a year! I have always said that it takes a strong writing committment to a character to make him/her relevant again.

  27. I think Psylocke was just hoarded away,no fault of any other writers, but Claremont wanted her,and marvel gave her to him to keep him happy.i like CC, i mean he created betsy, but somtimes a charater needs to develop in sombody elses hands.

    and LOL@soul

    ReplyDelete
  28. @PsySpears - Indeed. The person who creates the character is not necessarily the best individual to develop him/her.

  29. I´m dying to hear some news on the Wolverine and The X-Men cartoon!
With all these Betsy goodness this year, do you guys think we´ll see her on a more important role in season 2?
Also, if she makes it to the Wolvie movie, what power set do you think she´ll get?

    ReplyDelete
  30. @Anonymous 11:52AM - Hey. I have been asking the same question for months! I haven't seen any information indicating that Betsy would be in Season 2 of Wolverine and the X-Men. I really hope she does make it, not as a cameo character, but as a "reformed villian" who joins the X-Men as Emma Frost had in season 1. There is definitely a place in the show for Betsy, that is, if the producers decide to place her there.

    centurion

  31. @Anonymous 11:52AM - The ideal placement of Betsy in Season 2 of Wolverine and the X-Men would be a recurring role like that of Cyclops, Wolverine, and Beast.

  32. can i just say i can't get enough of using the butterfly swarm and tlekinetic burst in MUA2????

    it's the best betsy ever.
