  4. Can't wait!!! Want to see Warren and Betsy have some dialogue, after her being brought back to life was utterly ignored by him : l

  5. I wonder if she has to suggest verbally, or if she can do it by thinking it.

  6. It would be cool for her telekinesis began to regress as her telepathy re-emerged. It could interesting as she comes to terms with her changing powers.

  7. Looks very promising! Glad Betsy is getting back some of her telepathic talents. Also glad to see her with Warren... always loved them as a couple.

  10. I really appreciate that Fraction recognizes that some readers want instant gratification - so he's answering questions upfront about what Betsy can/can't do.

I'm also pleased that Hank is bringing Betsy in on his adventure. It makes sense since they do have a special bond - she risked her life for his! I really loved the scenes w/ the two of them immediately after her resurrection - especially her annoyance about her "memorial plant", then running into Emma!

Please, please, please, please, please don't let she and Warren reconcile. I'd hate it. She's been through too much to go back to that. She needs someone with grit, and a backbone. Yeah, Warren has the whole Archangel transformation thing to dirty him up, but HE dumped her; then again, he also brought her back from the dead (the first time). LOL.

Alright, I better stop before I go on for days...

Oh yeah; I noticed @PsySpears didn't post yet. Well, when you read this - let's be I'll be Wiccan if you be Hulkling. Hehehe. Mrowr.

  15. I love the Beast and Psylocke interaction. Am I the only one that wants Betsy and Beast together?

  16. Betsy needs to be alone for a time...
She just came back home, i just hope she show a nice use of her powers, new outfit, some spotlight and personality development... But no romances till 2010. If she stay alive...

  17. Hi, La Betsy. I am sure Betsy will be alive for a very long time :) She is too popular to be killed and forgotten so suddenly. It isn't impossible (for any character), but unlikely. Even if Psylocke were killed again, knowing Marvel, she would be resurrected, as many Marvel characters were in the past and present. I agree that the objective for Psylocke's future should be further character development, and possibily some greater exposure in current videogames and animated shows; these venues are means of increasing her popularity among those interested in Marvel comics. In regards to Psylocke's development, attaining such goals invariably depends on the writers. I still would like to see Betsy and Beast together in the future.

Today, I received the first issue of X-Men Forever from Marvel. I will let you know what I think of it. Are you getting a copy?

    Best,

  22. Betsy does look great! My only complaints is that once again a writer messes up with her powers (I know some of you are excited with her having some telepathic abilities now, but "suggesting what other people see"? Really? Is she Lady Mastermind's other sister now?), and she is still wearing the damn ninja suit.

Don't get me wrong, I think the ninja suit was brilliant in the 90s, it really fit with her back then, when she was this silent, aggressive, moody mysterious ninja. But Betsy nowadays isn't like that, she's now a much lighter person, talkative, who jokes a lot and is warm-hearted. I just don't think the ninja suit has anything to do with Betsy now.

Regarding her romantic feelings, I'm probably the only one here who actually liked her romance with AoA Sabretooth. Their romance wasn't forced, it actually was briefly hinted since the first time they met but was developed slowly in over 20 issues of Exiles/New Exiles until they finally expressed themselves. If Fraction wants to break them up to pair Betsy with Warren, I think he (or the current Exiles writer) could at least give her relationship with Creed some closure (why aren't they together anymore? Did they fight? Did he die? Did she disappear and he couldn't figure out what happened to her?).

  23. But all these complaints aside, this issue does seem very promising! I am not reading these issues, as in Brazil we are still waiting for Uncanny X-Men #500, but I like the concept of the X-Club. It seems some readers think it is boring, though, so maybe adding Psylocke and Angel to the team they can get some action scenes to balance with the scientific research part.

  24. i love the slowly recovering telepathy, and the fact that she is the team telepath right away.

i love that psylocke is back with angel! meant to be!

why isn't she wearing the outfit from exiles? her codename should be "juno" at this point. put some pants on!!

  25. I don't like the idea of Betsy and Warren getting back together. I hope this doesn't happen. "Warren - Turn ons: Betsy Braddock" Whatever! Bad luck buddy! Warren dumped her and now he needs to deal with it.

I think Betsy should stay single for awhile and maybe slowly build up a romance with Hank. I think they'd make a cute couple.

I remember them in X-treme X-Men where they flirting with eachother and then they hugged! It was so cute<3
