Psylocke Joins "Marvel Super War" with Classic Ninja & Disassembled Skins

New Super Hero Psylocke will join the Wakandan Battlefield!

What changes will she bring to the battlefield with her unique superpower? Check out the video to see her in action!

Natural Passive: Battle Psyche
Passive: Psylocke converts the energy damage dealt and taken to her own HP.

Ability 1: Psionic Whip
Psylocke swings her psionic whip in the specified direction, dealing damage to enemies in its path and leaving energy residues behind. The residue then deals damage to enemies in its path again after a brief delay.

Ability 2: Psychic Shadow
Psylocke charges in the specified direction in an arc-shaped path, dealing damage to enemies in her path. She also enhances her next 3 basic attacks, dealing extra damage.

Ability 3: Fatal Mark
Psylocke leaves a butterfly mark in her original location and charges in the specified direction, dealing damage to anyone in her path. If she hits an enemy hero, she silences and marks them for a short duration. The mark then deals damage when it disappears. Using this ability again will return you to the marked location.

  1. Even in the games they know that psylocke is betsy braddock... but in comics.

  2. I was going to say the same thing... this Psylocke definitely doesn't look like Kwannon, even in the default 1990s skin. She's Betsy - and in her real body.

That reminds me: wasn't there another Marvel video game with a Secret Wars-like world, where Kwannon was going to be some sort of NPC (one of Apocalypse's Horsemen, if I remember correctly)? Does anyone here know whatever happened to it? Was it cancelled?

  3. Oh, and since we're talking about video games, there will be a new LEGO Star Wars game next year - and many people believe that there will be a new LEGO Marvel game after that (either a LEGO Marvel's Avengers 2, adapting the story of the MCU Avengers films not covered in LEGO Marvel's Avengers 1, or a LEGO Marvel Super-Heroes 3, with an original story).

In any case, now that Marvel has bought FOX and will likely include X-Men characters back to the LEGO series, do you guys think there's any chance Betsy will be in the new game? And if so, would she appear as Captain Britain or as Psylocke (or both)? I kinda fear she may be left out due to how her popularity seems to have dropped in the Dawn of X era - but then again, Brian wasn't exactly the most popular superhero when LEGO Marvel Super-Heroes 1 was released and he was still included.

I don't know if anyone here has played these LEGO games, but LMSH1 was AMAZING - it's not only fun, it's also very immersive in the way you get to explore Marvel's version of New York and visit memorable places like the Avengers mansion, the Daily Bugle building or Xavier's mansion, and it was great to be able to play as Betsy (though it's a little sad that she doesn't have telepathy in it, only telekinesis - I'd rather have her get the TP and lose the TK).

Sadly, the X-Men characters were excluded from the other two games, and ironically that was a decision that bit those games in their behinds: LEGO Marvel's Avengers was nice (and their exclusion in it was understandable as they weren't in the MCU films - even though several other characters who have never appeared in the MCU were unlockable) but far less memorable... and LMSH2 was very disappointing, to say the least (ironically, it was followed by DC's best LEGO video game so far). Hopefully Marvel won't repeat the same mistake for a third time - and hopefully Betsy will be in it once again.

  4. The Disassembled costume is my favourite Betsy costume... But this is not a good version of it.

It doesn't capture the elegance, or the clean lines of it.

That choker ruins the clean neck/decolletage, which I think is one of that uniforms best features.

This is an ugly jumpsuit in vaguely similar colours.

That said, I'm very glad they choice this over a Captain Britain version.

    1. I actually rather like it @Benjamin tbh. It looks like an armored version of her Dissasembled costume imo. I think it looks cool lol.

    2. I take the dregs of the Disassembled Psylocke design over the Jim Lee cameltoe clipper that's played out and stained no lie. It's Thanksgiving early New Year serve mama!

  5. Just waiting on the day, when they add some of her older costumes. I do like the look of this though.

  6. @FSaker the game exists, Marvel Realm of Champions. Psylocke is not really an NPC, just part of the game's lore

  8. Apparently she's also in Marvel Future fight as Captain Britain. Not in her usual costume though, but in the Hellfire Gala outfit.

  9. The new year arrived with a bang and a butterfly for Betsy!

Mahmud Asrar's Psylocke costume for this game is beyond words beautiful! I'm enamored of its look and colors.
